  1. hi heather – i’ve recently come across your work since i too work ‘on the commons’.

    i’d love to chat sometime soon about your work – i feel a bit late to the show now that your book has already been ‘launched’. i was out traveling parts of the Great Lakes this summer working with others on the Great Lakes Commons initiative.

    i’m in toronto – you?

    i’ve been enjoying parts of your blog and i’ll look into getting your book.
    i’ve spoken with david bollier a few times – and i’ll be meeting him in person for the first time in a few weeks in montreal for this event;

  2. I’m from Guelph where we learned about ‘In Flanders Fields’ every year in public school but today was the first time I learned about the white poppy from your Star column.

    Thanks and good for you!

  3. Just listened to your talk to CACOR earlier this year. So sorry to miss it in person! It is EXCELLENT!! Inspiring. Just plain wonderful.
    If you have not moved west yet or are in Ottawa for other reasons, I would love to get together over lunch, coffee, a walk to discuss related activities…
    All the best
